Introducing Brushed Cashmere: a luxurious evolution of your favourite Caroline Sills knitwear.
At Sills + Co, cashmere has long been at the heart of what we do. With over forty years of experience working with this remarkable fibre, we have developed a deep appreciation for its character and for what it can become.
Our limited-edition Brushed Cashmere capsule reflects this understanding. Crafted in two enduring silhouettes and three considered hues, designed to be treasured as heirloom-quality knits.

Behind The Design
01. Fibre
True brushed cashmere begins with discernment at fibre level. Only longer fibres are selected to create the depth, loft, and enduring softness. Their generous length allows the surface to develop that signature halo.
The yarn is spun with a deliberately softer twist that allows the fibres to rise to the surface during finishing.
02. Process
The transformation is completed through a specialised Japanese washing process - long renowned for its technicality. This carefully developed treatment coaxes the fibres into openness, preparing them for brushing while preserving their natural resilience.
The cashmere then undergoes a specialised brushing techniques to achieve its tactile dimension.
03. Result
The result is a refined, velvety bloom textured cashmere. A finish that feels both luxurious and lasting. Crafted not simply for the season, but for years to come.
Our Brushed Cashmere comes in three hues; Black, Vapour, and Citronelle, and two enduring shapes; a Tee and cardigan.
