Fine Cashmere
Each piece of Caroline Sills Fine Cashmere is expertly crafted in Nepal by skilled artisans whose techniques have been passed down through generations. This tradition of craftsmanship is central to the collection, reflecting a deep respect for time-honoured skills and the people who preserve them.
For more than fifteen years, we have partnered with the same small family-run business in Nepal. Their expertise and dedication play a vital role in bringing our Fine Cashmere pieces to life. Every garment is entirely hand-made using traditional flat hand-knitting machines—an intricate process that requires exceptional care and precision, particularly when working with such fine-gauge cashmere.
Beyond craftsmanship, this partnership is also about community. By choosing a piece of Caroline Sills Fine Cashmere, you are supporting sustainable livelihoods for the artisans and their families. The work created through this collaboration helps provide stability, opportunity, and empowerment—particularly for women, enabling greater financial independence and investment in the education and wellbeing of their children.
Together, through the continued support of our customers, we are proud to contribute to a story that honours craftsmanship while fostering resilience, opportunity, and growth.
Photographs featured were taken by Caroline during her visit to Nepal in 2022, offering a glimpse into the hands and heritage behind every piece.
