Summer Weddings
Summer wedding season is fast approaching. Don’t let the last-minute scramble for something to wear detract from the fun and anticipation of the day; whether you’re the mother of the bride/groom or an honoured guest.
There’s something about a warm weather ceremony that invites fun into a formal dress code - your attire should be polished, yes, but can lean playful and bright. One of our exclusive prints fit the bill nicely – like the Lapis Floral print or Riverie bandana Print.
And remember that a matching top and skirt can be just as dressy as a dress, and offers more styling options in the future, or extra outfits for a destination wedding event.

The Races
The most prestigious horse racing event of the year usually have a dress code to match. Most commonly, dresses must be below knee length and have no thin straps. Our edit of midi and maxi dresses includes many race-appropriate styles, from rich metallic satins to bright and bold linens.
We’ll never pass up on the opportunity for a great tailoring moment, and the races are the perfect time to make a suiting statement among a sea of dresses. A couple of things to note if you’re thinking of taking the tailored route: jackets + trousers should match in colour and fabric, and under-suit layers must comply with the dress code.
What is a race day outfit without a hat! Our collection of Panama hats are handmade in Ecuador and designed by our founder, Caroline Sills. Our pick for the races is the couture-inspired Monroe Panama.
Work Parties
It’s the most talked-about event on the outlook calendar – the work Christmas party. But planning a look that can take you from AM to PM can be tricky. The natural choice feels like a polished black dress, one which you can layer on jewellery and change up your flats for heels.
We’re big fans of a blazer on any given day but given the practical considerations of an alfresco evening event, it becomes a must-have for your work do outfit. The Caroline Sills McCabe Blazer is the perfect option with it’s smart fit and crease-resistant linen blend fabrication for a seamless desk-to-venue transition.
