Where did the name Chuckles and Boo come from?
Thank you for your interest in Chuckles and Boo! I’m often asked about the origin of our name and it comes from my beautiful daughters: Charlie, whom we affectionately call “Chuckles,” and Bailey, known as “Boo.” And it always makes me smile hearing people saying our catchy name as they walk by the shop.

How and when did the brand start?
The journey of Chuckles and Boo began about 16 years ago. At that time, I was creating original pieces from vintage tablecloths and selling them at local markets to help with our young family's expenses. Thanks to the wonderful support from our customers, I soon realized my passion for design and fashion could become a full-time career. What started on my back deck has grown into overseas design trips and our very own shops. I’m truly grateful for everyone who has been part of this adventure and helped us evolve.

How would you describe Chuckles and Boo in three words?
If I had to describe Chuckles and Boo in three words, I’d say: feminine, timeless, and flattering.

What inspires your designs?
Our designs are inspired by our very own sunshine coast and its relaxed lifestyle. I want to offer women a wardrobe that blends cool, comfortable wear with a touch of feminine style, reflecting both ease and elegance.

Which piece are you most excited for the Sills + Co customer to discover?
I’m most excited for them to discover our Frayed Bottom Pants. Choosing just one favorite is tough, but these pants are a staple in my own wardrobe and have been our best sellers for the last 5 years. I often hear from my customers that they love how effortlessly they work with their wardrobe, and how they feel both stylish and comfortable wearing them. It’s wonderful to see our pieces become part of their daily lives.
