Sills Scuba

Reimagined for modern outerwear, the Sills Scuba series offers a versatile approach to layering, designed to adapt to fluctuating conditions, making it the ideal travel fabric. This technical neoprene is sleek and structured with a springy hand-feel.

Originally developed in 1931 by DuPont under the name DuPrene, neoprene has evolved from industrial applications and wetsuits into a mainstay of contemporary fashion. Its unique properties, water resistance, insulation, and flexibility, continue to push traditional textile boundaries.

The collection features four refined silhouettes in two different Scuba weights – thoughtfully chosen for different climates.

In a heavier weight comes the Tokyo Hooded Coat and Kathryn Scuba Pant – a cocoon shaped coat and matching cropped straight pant - to compliment the oversized nature of the jacket.
In a mid-weight scuba is our Kathryn Scuba Jacket and Erika Wide Leg Pant. The neater fit of the jacket pairs perfectly with the wider nature of the pant to balance the figure.

While travelling through the Midlands of England, Caroline Sills discovered the Alice Wheeler range. She purchased a set for herself, using it during her travels, and loved it so much she decided to bring the brand back to New Zealand to stock at Sills + Co.
