Designed with long, sun-drenched days in mind, Resort 2025 from Sills captures the essence of relaxation and refined simplicity. For this final chapter of the SS25 season, Caroline Sills and the design team turned their attention to the idea of a holiday wardrobe made easy - beautiful pieces to wear away, or simply to bring that effortless holiday spirit home.

The Inspiration
Inspired by slow rhythm and golden light of a holiday abroad, the collection channels an uncomplicated sense of ease. The silhouettes are familiar yet fresh, crafted from 100% organic cotton by artisanal makers in India - a collaboration that brings together craftsmanship, sustainability, and understated luxury.
“We wanted to work with the artisanal makers in India and support their growth,” lead designer, Mandy Villars, says. “Their skill and attention to detail bring such authenticity to the collection.”

The Fabric
At the heart of the Resort story is the cotton itself. In two distinct weights, Poplin and Voile, both beautifully breathable and naturally soft.
Both fabrics are organically grown and consciously produced. Each piece was designed and refined in New Zealand and cut and sewn in India by skilled hands - a meeting of global artistry and local design.
Cotton Poplin
Organic Cotton Poplin forms the foundation for the Anjali Dress, Sanya Pintuck Dress, and Shalini Pant. With its soft yet crisp handle, Poplin offers a subtle structure - perfect for creating defined shapes that hold their silhouette while remaining lightweight and wearable in the summer heat.
Cotton Voile
Organic Cotton Voile introduces a lighter mood; floaty, airy, and luminous. Used in the Elodie Ruffle Blouse, Anjali Voile Dress, and the Anjali Printed Dresses, Voile drapes softly and moves with the breeze, bringing an effortless femininity that feels made for heat-soaked afternoons and gentle evening light.

The Palette
The Resort palette stays true to Sills’ foundation of understated luxury — grounded in navy, black, and white, with notes of soft lilac and washed khaki that add warmth and softness.
The prints that decorate the Anjali Spot Dress holds a special story — inspired by a vintage Sills + Co dress Caroline once wore on holiday. After receiving countless compliments, she knew it deserved a revival. Reimagined for Resort 2025, the print brings a bright, joyful energy while staying true to its timeless roots.
